The registered number of any motor-cycle shall be fixed in an upright position at the front thereof on both sides of a plate parallel with the front mudguard, iind at the back of the motor-cycle on a plate placed transversely. The size and arrangement of t'no letters and numerals composing the registration number of any motor shall bo in accordance with the Form No. 3 of the regulations published in the .New Zealand Gazette on 15th September, 1910.
