OWNERS aud DRIVERS of MOTORCARS and MOTOR-CYCLES are hereby notified that the following amending Regulations under "The Motor Regulation Act" v.-ere made by Order-in-Council dated the J Ith February, 191S, and are cow in force: — The registered number of a motor (other than a motor-cycle) shall be fined upon the motor in an upright position parallel with the axlee, both at the front thereof in any place where it ■will be clearly distinguishable, and at the back thereof in any place where it will be clearly distinguishable by day and illuminated at night by the rear light. The registered number of the motor shall a!rO be fixed at the back of any vehicle drawn by the motor in any place where it will be clearly distinguishable by day and illuminated at night by the rear light. The registered number of any motor-cycle shall be fixed in an upright position at the front thereof on both sides of a plate parallel with the front mudguard, iind at the back of the motor-cycle on a plate placed transversely. The size and arrangement of t'no letters and numerals composing the registration number of any motor shall bo in accordance with the Form No. 3 of the regulations published in the .New Zealand Gazette on 15th September, 1910. ELECTIONS of Members of the General Council of Education, will be held on the 13th MAY, 1918. The Poll will close at 5 o'clock on that day.
