SURVIVORS OF THE APARIMA.
ItETUIIN TO NEW ZEALAND. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, March 12. The survivors of the Union Company's steamer Aparima, which was sunk in the English Channel last December, have returned to Auckland. Tho party consists of eight officors, six seamen, and twelve cadets. The officers aro: —W. B. Hirst, socond engineer; K. A. Gunn, third engineer; H. H. Barr, fourth engineer; N. S. Fleming, fifth engineer; J. J. McKeegan, sixth engineer; A. M. Mayo, sevonth engineer; G. M. Cooper, third officer; A. F. Vipau, wireless operator. Tho cadets are:—T. E. Bevan, J. Adams, AV. Milhvard, N. H. Annandale, W. Seantlebury, E. Sutherland, A. Denholm, J. Every Clayton, J. Murray, T. H. Davis, W. Shakespeare, and D. Williams. Tho seamen are: —A. Johnston, boatswain; A. Dwyer, L. Mccjvinnon, V. Fox, A. Mclntyre, and E. Elder, A.B.'s. These are all the Europeans who were saved, except tho commander, Captain Gerald Doorley, out of 32 officers and men, and 30 cadets.
