Following on the stirring speech of M. CJemencau (Premier), the Chamber carried a vote of confidence in the Government by 400 votes to 75. MONTENEGRO LOYAL. PEACE OFFER SCORNED. (Reuter's Telegrams.) (Received March fOth, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 8., The Montenegrin Minister of War in a letter to the Press, indignantly denies the rumour that Montenegro may conclude peace with the Central Powers. He mentions that 2000 Montenegrins are fighting on the French front, and adds: "The Central Powers formally offered the Montenegrin Government peace, which was rejected with contempt."
