NOTES AND MEMORANDA
A "arden party will be held in the Addineton school ground, Spencer street, today opening at 2.30 p.m. There will be numerous attractions, and produce, flowers, swe©t« ice-cream, and refreshments will be dispensed for a consideration. Proceeds vrill go to swell the school braiding fund. The Kaiapoi Riverside Carnival, in aid of the Bed Croes, Lady Liverpool, and Y.M.C.A. Funds will bo held on Saturday, 23rd inst.
