AMBULANCE DAY.
A £420 REALISED. Yesterday was Ambulance Day a Christchurch, and from an early hour in the morning a large number of ladies were busily collecting in ihe Square and its adjoining streets. The badges of the St. John Ambulance Association found a ready sale, and it was not long before nearly every person one met was wearing the familiar badge. Two stalls in the Square, one for produce, cakes, and sweets, uul the other for flowers J did a splendid business. The sum realised by tbe day's collection was £420.
