The Go:ier?.l Committee of the Ked Triangle. Fund met yesterday in tho Chamber of Commerce, Mr C. Morton Olliviei' oresiciius over a good attendance. Tho chairman said ho was pleased to say that tho funds iiad beaten tho halfway r-'ark, and thut over £SOCO was collected. He oxplained that the business of the meeting, other than receiving reports of collectors, was to make arrangements fur organising a number of ladies to work on "Button Day," in aid of the ficd Triangle Funds. He suggested that members of tho committee should be in attendance at various hours at the Chamber of Commerce on "Ambulance Day," in order to interview the two hundred lady collectors for that object, and to seek their services for "Button Day." It was agreed to fall in with the chairman's suggestion, and a numiier of volunteers offered to attend at different hours in accordance.
