The petrol'consumption is averaging 20 miles per gallon in hilly country. In my opinion the STUDEBAKER is out on its own for HIRE and SERVICE work, f. On the present run—Nelson to Christchurch—the car, ran really splendid with 6 adults and luggage, 2 spare tins of petrol, and 2 extra' tyres, having come through'without a single hitch. Although the road conditions were very bad, we have not touched the tyres since leaving ' ; Nelson.
