In another speech in ho said that a certain New Zealand officer had deserted to the enemy as soon as lie got to the front. 'lno truth about the officer mentioned is that he is. at the Discharge Deoot for New Zcalandeis at Torquay, where unlit n: r n are assembled before being sent back to this country.
