THE obiecis of the ST JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION are: — (a) The instruction of pt-rsons in rendering First Aid in caso of accidents or sudden iUness. and jn the transport of the eick and injured. (b) Instruction of persons in tho elementary principles and practice ot Nursing, and also of Ventilation and Sanitation, especially 0; a sick room. (c) The manufacture and distribution, by saio or presentation, of Ambulance Material, and the lormatiou ot Ambulance Depots m Mines, Factories, and other centres ot industry and traffic. The organisation of Ambulance Corps, Invalid Transport Corps, and Nursing Corps. (c) And generally ihe promotion of construction, and carrying out of works, for the lclief oi suffering of tfio sick and injured in peace and war, independently of clas3, nationality, or denomination. Tho Association has to depend almost entirely on Subscriptions and Donations to carry on its worx, consequently THIS APPEAL IS COMMENDED TO ALL.
