CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION". At a meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Football Association there were present—Messrs R. English (in the chair), Bant, Da-vies, Connor, Hahan, Richardson, Perry, Mitchell, Ramsey, and. Callon (secretary). Mr P. O'Callaghan wrote asking if the Association would grant permission for a new club to register red and blafk halvc-s. It was decided to favourably consider the application. Mr Bunt stated that the St. Albans Young Men's Guild was thinking of starting a new club, and wished to be supplied with rules, etc.—To be sent.
A special oommittec was set up to draw up the annual report and balance-sheet.
The president gave notice of the following echeme for the classification of playere, which ■will be considered at the annual meeting: — Seniors, 20 years and over: Juniors, 13 to 20 years; Third Grade, 16 to 18 years; Fourth Grade, 16 years and under. Any player can by special permit cf the Association play in a lower grade; alao any player can play in a higher grade, but should he play three times for a higher grade, he cannot play again for a lower grade without tke consent of the Association.
