PERSONAL NOTES. Mrs A. Hardie, 497 Gloucester street, lias received advice that her son. LanceCorporal A. T. Hardie, is returning home. Mr \V. Moor, Idris road, Papanui, has received advice that his son, Corporal C. Moor, who was seriously ■wounded on the Western, front in October, is returning home. Mrs James Robertson, South Crescent road, has received advice that her son, Private A. W. Robertson, is being invalided home. Mrs E. E. Bowley, 499 Cashel street, received advice yesterday that her son, Private W. Bowley, was admitted to hospital on February 20th, suffering from trench fever. Private Bowley sailed with the 27th Reinforcements. Prior to leaving he was employed as a compositor by Messrs Whitcombo and Tombs. Mr George Milne, Linwood avenue, has received advice that his eldest son, Private Reginald Clarence Milne, has been gassed and admitted to the Brockenhurst Hospital. Private Milne, who is in his 21st year, left 2s ew Zealand with the 19th Reinforcements. Upon arriving in France he was transferred "to the machine-gun section. Mrs A. Ralph, 96 Shirley road, St. Albans, has been advised that her eldest, son, Lance-Corporal C. R. Ralph, was severely gassed on February 20th. Lance-Corporal Ralph left -with the 16th •Reinforcements, and was through Messines and the fighting in October without a scratch, acting a3 a stretcherbearer. His youngest brother, Claire, is still in the Hornchurch Convalescent Hospital, recovering from an attack of trench fever.
