TURKS IN RETREAT. AX ARTILLERY RECORD. (B7 Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright.) (United Service.) LONDON, March 4. Mr W. T. Massey, writing from Palestine Headquarters on February 20th, after detailing tho difficulties of the advance, says:— "Wo beat the Turks, who are in full retreat. The Valley of the Jordan is patrolled by us. "What was probably an artillery record wa 3 established "in the Jericho operations. The guns began firing at an altitude of 2000 feet over the soa, and when they finished, the guns in action in tho Jordan Valley were 1100 feet below soa level." ■ ANOTHER MASSACRE OF ARMENIANS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW YORK, March 4. The Hague correspondent of the New York "Times" states that authentic information from Asia Minor has been received that tho entire male Armenian population at Sansun, including children, has been massacred by the Turks. BRITISH ADVANCE. LITTLE OPPOSITION ENCOUNTERED. (Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association.) CReuter's Telegrams.) (Received March oth, 8.10 p.m.) LONDON, March 4. A Palestine official report states: — "We advanced northwards to a maximum depth of 3000 yards on a frontage of 12 miles astride, and westward of the Jerusalem Nablus (Shechem) road, meeting with little opposition." .
