9 GOVERNOR'S BAY. The third show of the season in connexion with the Port Yictona Horticultural Society ivae held on Thursday in the Allandale Hall. The -Dxhibite were numerous and of excellent quality. Th 0 ladies, as usual, made a good show in the domestic section. Mr D. Bradbury, Cashmers Nursery, staged a l&Tgo collection of Michaelmas daisies, and Mr "W. A. Carpenter an excellent exhibit of cactus dahlia and phlox Drummondi. Mr Brudbuiy judged the fruit and flowers, and Miss Bradley and Miss Allan the domestic section. Mr W. A. Carp tenter, hon. secretary, and the committee made satisfactory arrangements for the show.
