FLOWER SHOW.
SPREYDON. A successful Flower Show wa6 held on Saturday, in tli© Coronation Hall, Sproydon, under the auspices of the Spreydon Domain Board. The show was the Board's initial venture in that direction, but eo successful was its outcome that thc-ro is little doubt that it will bocomo an annual fixture. There was a splendid attendance at 2.30, -the time fixed for the opening, when the Mayor of Spreydon (Mr W. H. Winsor) declared the show open. In hia brief speech, Mr Winsor referred to the enterprise of the Board, and the good work it was doing by encouragingthe peopk.' of Spreydon to make the moat of their suburb, to whose future possibilities as a garden suburb he referred in glowing" terms.
