CANTERBURY STATISTICS. For the month of February the record of infoctious diseases in the Canterbury Health District totalled 112, as compared with 144 for January. Details of last month's record are:—
As com pa re J with January the j North Canterbury portion of tie dis- I triet shows a decrease of 9 cases of 1 scarlet fever, one of diphtheria, and 19 of tuberculosis. Ashburton shows a decreaso of one case of scarlet fever, and an iucreasc of two cases of diphtheria; the same number of eases of tuberculosis was reported in each month. The figures for South Canterbury are identical for the two month?. Grey -.hows an increase of one case of scarlet lever, and a decrease o', ihm> cases of diphtheria; ihe ttibf-rculosis figures arc identical. Duller shows a decrease r,t two cases of diphtheria; there were uo tuberculosis cases iu January in fiithor Builer or West-land.
