At ".10 p.m. yesterday the Fire Brigad turned out to 1-t-j Harper street, IrydenhJin, « /our-roomed cottage owned fcy Mrs Kobson, and occupied by Mr H. F. Gray. Trifling damage was "done to the :oot of the pantry. At B.o> n-.ra. a more serious fire occurred at 1 0.3 Victoria street, a iour-roomed house, with shop in front, owned by \lr F. G. I'nvin, Ami o / .f:npicd by Mr J. T. Smith. All the outhouses were destroyed. but the main building escaped damage. In both cates the tenants were iininstued.
