KAIAPOI HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY. The Kaiapoi Horticultural and Home Industrie* Sociolv held its annual show an tho Drill Hall. Kaiapoi, yesterday, vho Proceeds bein- it. aid of the Red Cross F'ind- Ihe function was very successful, both from the point of view of entries and the quality 01 tho displays, and attracted a large number of visitors during the day. In addition to tho competitive classes Messrs Buxton ana Co. made a fin© display of pot plant;?, out blooms, etc., and Messrs Nairn and Sons had » special stand of blooms {01 exhibition purposes. Special exhibits were also made of work done by the pupils of the Kaiapoi Technical Classes, and made by the Kaiapoi Branch of tho K«d Cress.
