During the Dunedin Cup Meeting the Rokeby filly Rokelaine, was sold to Mr D. 11. Roberts, but was subsequently resold to a patron of T. Stiven's stable. The filly is said to be developing trouble with her respiratory organs, and may be sont to the stud next season. Eleus and Thames jumped off together at the six-furlong post, Eleus, under a light weight, holding his companion comfortably at the finish. Ascalaphus ran nine furlongs in attractive style, being brought home ovor the last part by Spangle. Finland Maid moved freely in a halfmile sprint with Carol Singer. Tokarahi gave a smart exhibition of speed over five furlongs, Donnata being seen at her best later over the same ground. ■%, 3>aytime went well over five furlongs, and Kilrush ran four smartly, but Jingo was not so pleasing. Jeannot was too good for Tyne at the end of seven furlongs, and looked as u he could have done even better. Bondage sprinted half a mile smartly, assisted by AVinslow, who was doing his best at the finish. Bondage is coming on. Tremena dashed over half a mile in good time.
