HOSPITAL BOARD. MONTHLY MEETING.
The Hospital and Charitable Aid Board met yesterday. Present —Messrs F. Horrell (chairman), H. 13. Snrensen, H. J. Otley, W. McMillan, W. li. Cooper, Wm, Nicholls, S. Androw, I. Andrew, W. J. Walter, li. Evans, J. Paterson, F. G. Norton, M. Bethell, O. Bradley, Hon. li. Moore, Mesdames Wilson, Green, and Christie. Mr M. Bothell was welcomed as tlio representative of tho Amuri County. On the motion of Mr Walter, it was agreed that a return be presented showing the salaries and -wages of all employees of the Board. The Minister wrote agreeing to continue tho grant to the iSocial HygieneAssociation until the regulations under the .Social Hygiene Act are gazetted. The Institutions Committee reported that matters were satisfactory. It was recommended that the Female Refuge, Linwood, be known in future as the Essex ITo7iio. —Adopted.
