CASUALTIES.
L. Beardsley. aged 19, residing at ]1 Rees street, and employed by Skelton. Frostick and Co.. Ltd., had his bar.:! caught in a machine press yesterday. He was treated at the out-patients' department of the Christchurch Hospital and then discharged. W. H.- Wicks, school teacher, residing at 93 Gloucester street, Linwood, was, while riding a motor-bicycle yestorclav. knocked down as the result of a collision with a tram-car com in from Rolleston street. He received injuries to his hands, knee, and head, and wa.i admitted to the Christchurch Hospital for treatment.
