THE WEATHER
MAGNETIC OBSERVATORY. Meteorological observations taken at 9-33 a.m. and 5 p.m. on February 26th:—
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Atmospheric pressure continues very low in the South. High north-westerly winds have prevailed, with warm, hazy conditions, and considerable rain has fallen on the AVest Coast. Present indications are for high northwesterly winds,- backing to south-westerly shortly. Expect squally, unsettled conditions with "heavy showers, and probably co.der weather soon; tha barometer unsteady, but rising fast in a short time in the South.
