The Admiralty states with reference lo a German official report that the auxiliary cruiser Wolf has returned after a la-months' cruise, that it is presumed she sank in the Indian or Pacific Oceans the following vessels. taking prisoner the crews: — i Turritolla Jumna Wordsworth Deo Wairuna Winslow Beluga Encore Matunga Hitachi Maru Igotzmendi. The Turritella was an unarmed mer-' chantman. She was captured in February, 1917, and equipped for mine-Taying, but shortly afterwards encountered a British warship', and the prize crew scuttled-lier and surrendered.
