9 NAVY LEAGUE RESOLUTIONS.

The following resolutions wore passed at a special mooting of the General Committee of the Canterbury (N.Z.) Branch of the Navy League, hold yesterday to discuss the position in regard to former German possessions in tho Pacific:— ''1. That in tho interest .of tho Allied nations, and the safety of the Pacific, the Canterbury branch of the Navy League is of tho opinion that none of tho islands in tho Pacific, formerly owned by Germany, should rovert to hor on tho conclusion of peace.'' "2. That tho other branches of the Navy League in Zoaland bo asked to join in the resolution, and that it bo forwarded to the Ilight Hon. Wm. Massey, and the Hi gilt Hon. .Sir Joseph Ward, so that tho resolution may bo a unanimous one from tho Navy League in New Zealand."
