Cloud (0-10) .. t... 5 7 Tho leadings taken at tho Ashbnrton Domain weather station at 9 a.m. yesterday were:—Barometer, 29.58; thermometer, max. 74, min. 55; lain, O.lin. SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Disturbances havo passed both, northwards and southwards of the Dominion, and warm and hazy conditions havo prevailed generally, with rain in several parts. Moderate to strong northerly and easterly winds havo predominated. Present indications are for northerly winds, increasing strong to gale, especially in and southward of Cook Strait, and backing to southerly shortly in the South. Expect cloudy ilnd unsettled weather, witn ram following, and heavy rain, in the West Coast and southernmost districts 01 do ioouui Island. The barometer will in.ll, but probably rise shortly in the South.
