The ''New York World's" Rome correspondent states that Slavs who escaped from Cattaro report that the Austrian fleet in Cattaro mutinied, and that the disaffection spread to Pola, Fiuine, and other Austrian ports. The discontent throughout Austria i~ reaching the proportions of an incipient revolt, due to Bolshevik propaganda. SOCIALIST DEMAND FOR PEACE. (United Service.) (Received February 24th, 5.5 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, February 22. A Vienna message states that in the Reichsrath the Socialists have given notice of urgent questions in the Chamber on February 27th, and are arranging mass meetings for the continuation of negotiations between Vienna and Washington. Replying to a congratulatory message of the Agricultural League, tho Kaiser exhorted the people to closo the ranks at home for the last great fight. GERMAN RECRUITS REVOLT. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Februarv 24th, 5.5 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, February 22. German recruits in Beverloo camp were informed that they wero going to the front, and wero ordered to sing "The Watch on tho Rhino." They refused, and an officer drew his sword to a recruit. His comrades thereupon ghot the officer. All suspects were courtmartialled and shot the same day. ENEMY LEADERS CONFER. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.)
