After a spell of a fortnight owing to the downpour on the preceding Saturday the ninth round of matches was commenced on: good wickets, and players favoured with glorious weather. Results: — SENIOR GRADE. Woolston batted the wholo afternoon against Railway, and had 288 for nine | wickets at 6is o'clock (Lawaon 71, Hills G7, Levi 44, Bennett 23, Rennells 21 .Black 19). Smith, five for 39, bowled well for Railway. At Sydenham Park, Green's took first strike against Druids, and made 119 (Gascon 39, Saunders 32, Jones 15, Dougall 21). Andrews soveu for 33, and Rix three for 59, took the wickets for Druids, and Ryde three for 9, and Dougail two for 39 for Green's. SECOND GRADE.
