Thoro was an extraordinary scene in the Policc Court at Ennis, when 22 youths ivere charged with cattle-driv-ing. A Sinn Fein leader made a dramatic appearance in the Court, blew three blasts on a whistle, and ordered all Sinn Fcincrs to follow him. The prisoners climbcd out of the dock and escaped. Four hundred Sinn Feiners, in tho name of tho Irish Republic, took over SCO acres of grazing land in Gurteon, ■Sligo. for cropping purposes.
