A rcthai.in connciion with the reopening' of tho organ waa lic.d in the Adaington Methodist Church on W'edncsany, when tnoro was a large attendance. Tno ltev. T. AV. Vealic, in a brul address, referred to tho improvements recently cttected, and eulogised the work ot Air Herbert Brett, the builder. Ho then called upon tho organist, Mr K. Fehsenfeld, to open tho recital. Tho cho;r tastetully gave eevcral anthems, and vocal items wero given by llesdaines Fletcher, Gandell, lira \V. Fehsenfeld, Miasea McCaffrey, Bowcn, Irene Fehsenfeld, Misses Messrs Bills, Collins, and Fedhenfeid. Aliss L. Burns contributed » recitation. In addition «o playing the accompaniments, tho organist gave a number of solos selected from classic and-modern composers. Mr Fecsenteid disp.ny<xl the different stops to advantage, and the tremulant ston, which has just been installed, added to the success of tne various numbers. The church was tastefully decorated lor the occasion. A dedication servioe will he held to-mor-row afternoon a.t Xis, when in addition to a short address, anthems, etc., Mrs Ernest Firth will give solos, and Mr Kmest Firth will be at the organ. . A special musical service will b e conducted at 6.30 p.m., by the Hcv. T. -W. Vealis. Special anthems will bo giren by the choir, and solos by Mies lbbotaoa and Mr Bills.
