CASUALTIES.

An inquest was held yesterday afternoon before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, Coroner, on tho body of a female child, fivo years and three months of age. named Hilda Maud Martin, and a verdict returned that death was due to pneumonia and heart failure. An employee of Mr H. Rood, of Darfield, named -E. Iveeley, met with a serious accident yesterday. While lie was uncoupling the horses from a field roller the team bolted, and the roller passed over tho man, who is still unconscious. ■
