• NEW COMMONWEALTH LOAN UNDERWRITTEN. (By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, April 11. The Commonwealth £3,500,000 loan at 5} per cent., interest issued at 98 and redeemable from 1922 to 1923, has been underwritten. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received' April 12th. 7.21 p.m.) LONDON, April 11. The prospectus of tho Australian Commonwealth loan will bo issued on Friday. The final instalment of 50 jJer cent, is payable on June 18th, and interest is payablo on December Ist. It is estimated that the loan yields the investor 115s per cent, compared with the present yield of tho British war loan of 114s 6d per cent. The advanced issue price, compared with that of the South Australian loan, is due largely to the lower hank rate ; and America's entry into the war. j ===== I
