Tho Oxford County Council met on Tuesday. Present—Messrs A. Butter, jun. (chairman), H. Campbell, I). Hawfce, J. McC'ormack. and J. Wells. Regarding commemoration of Anzac Day, it was resolved to invite ministers of religion to hold a combined service in Pearson Park in the afternoon, to invito returned soldiers to bo present, and to take ud a collection in aid of the Red Cross Association. Accounts amounting to £169 8a 9d were passed for payment.
