Sir James Allen, asked if there was any likelihood of Mr JJassey and Sir Joseph Ward returning in tune for the sitting of Parliament, said that so far a.s he knew they would be back in time. He had no direct information from them, and_ it all depended 011 the length of the War Council proceedings, but he had no doubt that tliey would return in time for the sitting of Parliament in June.
