A wireless Russian official message states: —"The enemy attacked in the Dolotchev region, and carried out six assaults near the village of Tchepeli. "We eventually dislodged the enemy, completely restoring our position. "We have occupied Khanikin and Kasrichirin. Tho battle is proceeding, tho Turkish rearguard making an effort to hold the Diala river crossing. "A Cossack detachment left Khanikin for Kyzylrabat for the purpose of joining up with the British." A Serbian communique states: —"The enemy bombarded Monastir with asphyxiating shells. Forty-seven civilians were killed and 20 wounded. Many houses were destroyed. THE GERMAN CLAIM.
