Tlio quarterly meeting of the Aahburton 1 Methodist Circuit Church officiate w#» held oa Wednesday evening, when the BuperinAenden-t of the circuit (Berr. O. Froei) presided. The number of members was reported to ba 277 with 14 probationers* The income for the ouarier was £173 1«. 2d, and tho expenditure, including a debit balance, amounting to £215. It wrs decided to take up the collections for foreign missions when the deputation (Mr Nicholson) from on© of the Islands, visit* •ths circuit. The Wills street CQrurch was granted a Sunday's oolleotion in connection with the anniversary of the Sunday ecliool.
