Before the Military Service Board today the Commissioner of Taxes appealed on behalf of a senior officer, one of six whose soi-viccs were essentia] for traininjE; juniors and the supervision of their work. Out of a staff of 82. it was stated. 12 had gone on activc service, and of the remainder .'3O were untrained cadets and girls.
