7a. WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE.
A meeting of jthe "Women's National Reserve waa held yesterday, Mrs W. Wood presiding. | Mib Wood explained that the meeting waa called to mate final arrangements for the 'Rose Fete to be held in the Domain Gardens on December 2pd. The following 6talls were decided upon: — No. 1 Tea Stall—Mesdames G. Hanmer, F. Brittain, Tobin, Berry, Ferrier, Bowron, and Miss G. Thomson. No. 2 Tea Stall—Mesdames Bean, CSilton, Papprill, Monro, Carey-Hill. No. 3 Tea Stall—Mesdames Raymond, G. G. Stead, G. Helmore, and Jennings. (Colours of tea stalls 1 , red. white, and blue.) Produce Stall—Mesdames Beauchamp Lane, Lavie, and Alpers. (Colours, green and ■white.) Ice Cream Stall—Mesdames J. Palmer and •Henry Wood. (Colours, pink and white.) Sweet Stall—Mesdames Marriner, Hamber, and Lee. (Colours, mauve and white.) Variety' Stall—Mrs Secretan. (Colours, white and gold.) ' Fruit Salad. Stall —Mrs Godby and Misa Cora Wilding. (Colours, red, white, and black.) Ca&o Stall—Misses Hawkins and de Veaux, assisted by. members of the clerical classes belonging to the W.N.R. (Colours, heliotrope and purple.) Peanut Stall—Miss Elsie Cooper. (Colours, white and pink.) Flower Stall—Mrs Mills, assisted by the students of tho W.N.R. Gardening Class. The stall has been divided into the following sections:—(l) Buttonholes. (2) lavender bags, (3) cut flowers, (4) pot plants, (5) ferns, for which beautiful baskets have been made, (6) • garden tools and gardening aprons. , Post Office Stall—Aire Harvey Cook and Miss Just. (Colours, scarlet.) Enquiry Stall—Mrs W. Wood and tho hon. secretary (Mrs Evans). Mrs Lane asked what arrangements had been made for delivery vans. Mis Wood replied that they would be undertaken by the C.D.C. Mrs Wood reported that Miss Maud Trent had offered to give sixpence out of e'very shilling paid for afternoon tea at the kiosk. It was decided that all helpers and heads of stalls must wear badges. ' Miss Cocks was appointed treasurer. ' BELGIAN CHILDREN'S RELIEF FUND. . The Carleton school children contributed £4 to the Belgian Children's Relief Fund. i
