The new Cabinet met and outlined its policy, which will be announced when the House meets on the 29th inst. IN NEW SOUTH WALES. . A TP, IA LOF STRENGTH. SYDNEY, November 16. In the Legislative Assembly, Mr W. A. Holniau tested the strength of the new Opposition 'on a motion for the adjournment of the House by leading liis followers from the Chamber, when the House was counted out. During the debate, Mr McGirr said that because of the attitude of Mr Hoiman in forming a "National Party, people were taking up a lawless attitude, ;i5 the Government did not represent Mr Kolman would not be able to hide from the electors by staying in Parliament, as a provisional Government would be formed. DEMONSTRATION AT PA RLI Aj MENT. SYDNEY. November 16. At the conclusion of the meeting of protest against the prolongation of Parliament held in the Town Hall, 3000 people inarched to Parliament, to present a re-solution. They f< und that the Hou«e had adjourned, and after a demonstration against the -Government, dispersed.
