The ladies of Sumner and Reddifis aro making good" progress with th»" work in connexion with tho Countess of Liverpool's (Women's) Fund, for tho furnishing ov comforts for tho Expeditionary Force. Tho second meeting of the committee was hold on Wednesday afternoon, when it was decided to make 60 shirts; 60 "hold-aljk" GO "housewives," and 60 handkerchief. Mr Vaughan, of RedcUffs (Heath awi* Co.'s cutter) has cut ont all the shirts free of cost, and a, good number aro already finished, all the material having been bought and paid foe, and tho treasurer still holds a good surplus, upwards of £40 having" been subscribed to date Tho follow- " ing Are additional donations: —Mrs K.
