W Beanland ; the amount of £10 10s credited to "H. B. Lane" should "bava been credited to Mr H. n Lane (secretary of the- Education Board), The.amount which "Briton" v has promised weekly is £1, not 10s, as stated yesterday. Messrs J. Ballantyne and Co. have contributed £250 to the Dominion Defence Fund. The firm's employees are subscribing to the Canterbury Patriotic Fund.
