SYDENHAM COMMITTEE

Sydenham is still working on behalf of the Children's Open-air Homes Fund. A benefit entertainment has been arranged by Mrs Paborill and a aumber of people in the district, and will take place on Friday, August 21st. under the patronage of his Worship the Mayor, when a good attendance is expected. By that time it is hoped to have nil the lists in, and the canvast finished. A ~ood sum of money will be the result of (Sydenham's response Any resident having been overlooked, and anxious to help this good cause, can still do so. Any amount will be acknowledged and added to the lists by Mr G. E.* Good, Colombo street, Sydenham.
