Wilson. : The work of revising the programme was tlien proceeded with, and the following additional events added:—Highland Pipe Music, Weight-guessing Competition, Sword Panee, Highland Fling, and Irish Jig (for adults), "Highland Fling and Highland Reel (for juveniles). » Mr 8. Robertson offered a special prise of one guinea for the beaVdrcased juvenile danoor. Mr D. C. Mcßeath presented a special prize of one guinea fj>r the beet-dressed Highlander, and ,Mr J. Biorda_ offered a fat wether for tha guessing competition, the sheep to become the property of the winner. Votefl_ of thanks were accorded the donors of special prises. Meagre S. Robertson, R. Burgees, and W. McKay wero appointed a eub-committe* to arrange tho Highland events. The secretary reported that the concert held with a view to providing funds for music on sports day had realised the sum of £13, and great credit was due to the promoters, Me—rs W. McKay, LoTgeHy, and Mis* Ross. It was decided to hold the nest sports meeting on Labour Day, October 26th. Mr 8. Robertson moved: "That a record be made of the club's appreciation of the valuable assistance rendered, both financially and otherwise, by the president, Mr J.
