All til© dar troops march through the streets to the railway stations to entrain for the seat of war, accompanied by their women folk, who aro speeding husbands and brothers to the front without tears. A fat peasant woman was scllintr potatoes at exorbitant prices when a crowd of four hundred women collected and -shrilly protested against what was sheer robbery and an unpatriotic action. Thov overturned the potatoes and pelted. the seller with them. Tho police rescued her.
