The monthly pectins o£ the Riecarlop Burgesses' Association, held in Mr R. »• BrHjtingV workshop, Riccartou road, was prwided ov«r by Mr Brighting, and there was a very fair attendance of members, ill D McLean was elected a new member of the Association. Tho matter of a telegraph office v.-aa disctuacd, and final decision was deferred. The opinion was expressed tha tbe now Council cliainbers Wire the most 'uitablo place for a telegraph office. Air I Killick waa elected a member of tue oxecu tive for the ensuing year. The question o widening Clarence road from Blair s cometo Tasker's Store, was discussed at cous-.dcr able length, and it was decided tour?e Hi Council to go into the subject as soon a possible, or failing that, the dangerous M. turo of the drain on tha cast sids be tt tended to.
