SATURDAY'S POULTRY MARKET.
There was a good entry at Merrett's Poultry Market on Saturday, some excellent quality birds being offered. Hens and ducks were in keen demand Table chickens realised 4s Gd'to 8s 7d. hens 2s to os 9d, pullets, 3s 6d to 9s tid; ducks os to i& 4d; turkeys <J S to 275; geese os to Q3 3d per pair.
