Wheat—Matters remain in much the same condition as has ruled for the past few weeks, the market remaining firm at recent quotations, with limited offerings by growers. Quotations remain practically on the same basis as last week's prizes, viz.: S.S. Tuscan, 3s 7d to 3s 8d; Hunters, 3s 8d to 5s Bjd; Pearl, 3s 9d to 3s 10d; whole fowl wheat, 3s 3d to 3s 4d, on trucks. Oats —The only grade in demand is ton quality Gartons for Homo shipment, and the value for this outlet, on present offers from Lonr'ftn and at present rate of freight, is Is Bd, on tir.cks, to Is BJd for extra heavy lines. "B" grade and inferior meet with a very dragging sale, and the values of fclm quality' may be quoted at la 7d, on trucks, for good "B," to Is 7jd for heavier samples; damaged and inferior, Is 5d to Is 61d; Duns, Is 7d to Is BJd, according to quality; Danish, Is 4d to Is sd.
Chaff—Prime quality meets a limited demand, and value of this grade is 45s to 47s 6d, on trucks. A large quantity of inferior chaff is offering, which is difficult to dispose of.
