BISHOP JULIUS SPEAKS AT Y.M.OA. ROOMS.

Yesterday afternoon his Lordship the Bishop of Christchnreh addressed members of tho Church of England Young Men's Biblo Class Union in the V.M.C.A. building. Bishop Julius was welcomed by Mr T. C. Field, who said that the objects of the Union, aud of such meetings, wore tho promotion, of the spiritual welfare of young men. If they would work together, the great lack of enthusiasm which was a complaint against the Church, would soon be remedied. Bishop Julius, who was received with applause by N the large gathering, said he had prepared a> speech for Churchmen from a Churchman, but he was not sorry to find present others outside the Church of England, and he would not alter the subject of his address. In expressing his sympathy with the work in which the majority of those present wore engaged, ho said that to fight sin they must be well armed. St. Paul had detailed the several parts of the Cliristian armour, and. had spoken of "the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God." The speaker then wont on to deal with various aspects of tho Bible, and concluded that it had to bo used and by one who was in sympathy with it.
