Tbe New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rcnniera, which sailed from Wellington for London on May 7th, left Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday last.
Under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company, the steamer Batsford is due at Auckland about the 19th inst?.nt. The vessel left St. John on April 4th, and wjl probably arrive at Lyttelton about June IG'h.
The Federal and Shire liner Suffolk, which left Wellington for London on Ap-il 16tb. arrived at the Home port en Tu-ceday last. The vessel took her departure from Lordon on May 7th, and in addition to Dunedin, will discharge at Lyttelton and Nelson. . Running under engagement to the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company, the steamer Walkure is due at New Plymouth from Hull at any time now. The "vessel called at Durban, en route, on May 22nd. From New York, via Australian ports, the American and Australian Company's chartered , steamer Tannenfels arrived at Auckland on Thursday last. After calling at Wellington, the veascl is due at Lyttelton in about a week's time. The. steamer Whakarua left Lyttelton for Dunedin yesterday to complete discharge of her cargo from New York. The Commonwealth and Dominion liner Muritai arrived at-Lyttelton from Bluff yesterday morning. She ia expected to leave on Monday next for Avonmouth, va- Las Palmas. She will leave for Dunedin to-raorrow upon arrival oi tho 10.55 a.m. train from Christcburch, and is due back again on Wednesday. The Union Company's collier Waihora, which is to be laid up on account of tbo labour troubles in Newcastle, was taken out into tbe stream yesterday morning. Her crew were paid off in the afternoon.
After being bar-bound for somo days, the. Karamu is exnocted to leave Greymouth for Lyttelton to-day.
