MR G. W. FORBES AT AMBERLEY.
Mr G. W. Forbes delivered a political address at Amberley last night. Mr i. .G. 7. wton presiding over a very good attendance. The speaker confined himself to replying to the statements made by the Hon. A. L. Herdman, Minister of Justice, last week, regarding finance, the Public Trust Office, and general legislation, his remarks being frequently punctuated by applause. On the motion of Mr Huntor, seconder by Mr J. Kenedy, a vote ofn thanks and confidence in the Liberal Party under the leadership of Sir Joseph Ward was carried unanimously.
