PRIDE OF CHRISTCHURCH TENT.
At the fortnightly meeting of the Pride of Christchureh Tent. L 0.8., Bro. C. H. Bascand, D.R., presided. Two members were received by clearance and threo candidates proposed. The Tent decided te accept a challenge from tbe Hope of Christchureh Lodge, 1.0. R., to a debate on July 7th, the eubjo"t to bo "Which has been, or is, the moat beneficial to the public, th* Press or the platform ?" A special feature of tho evening was the entertainment of the juveniles. Oxer 100 members, representing Addington, Sydenham, and Linwood Juvenile Tents, wero present. Bra Baacand extended a hearty welcome to the visitors, and congratulated them on the progress they had made. A musical programme was then gone through, and refreshments were handed round. Tho superintendents of tho different Juvenile Tents relumed thanks to the members of the Christcburch Tent for the way in which fhey had been entertained.
