SYDENHAM PICTURES
There wero full houses at both holiday matinee and night performances _t the Sydenham Theatre yesterdas*. To-night's chango of programme includes a Vitagraph film showing life in a great circus. It is entitled "Threads of Destiny," and is described as a play of .N_uch power. The plot deals with tho story of a millionaire, who, wishing to tost the worthiness of his heirs, concealed himself in a mansion and caused a false report to bo bruited abroad that ho is dead. The subsequent happenings furnish the main part of the play. "In Camp with our Territorials at Hautapu ' is stated to he the only official film of the camp. A feature of it is a pictorial interview with Sir lan Hamilton. Other subjects will be "Picturesque "The Elusive Diamond," - "How Flowers •, Awaken," "Stage-door Flirtation," the latest "Gaumont Graphic," '.-Tho Tale of a Cat" (comedy), and th© ".Main Trunk Railway Disaster," showing vivid scenes of this terrible accident.
